Date: July 4th, 2025

There is a $20 admission per vehicle to enter the park on Sunday only.

Red, White, and Kaboom! Cowabunga Bay (Henderson)

Monday, July 4th – As our weekends grand finale, we are pulling all the stops. Enjoy live entertainment all day all throughout the park. Not to mention dear old Uncle Sam gets his third day of dunking! This will also be your last chance to join those family friendly contests and prizes that were in store all weekend. And to end the fabulous weekend which is guaranteed to blow the family away; pull up a tube and dive into the wave pool to finish the evening with our spectacular firework show in partnership with the City of Pflugerville. The July 4th firework Grand Finale starts at 9 p.m. with optimal viewing from inside our wave pool or at these recommended parking and viewing locations: Hendrickson High School, 19201 Colorado Sand Drive; Stone Hill Town Center, 500 Limestone Commercial Drive; and Costco, 1901 Kelly Lane. For the best July 4 fireworks experience, those outside the waterpark can tune their radios to KPEZ FM 102.3 The Beat to enjoy the 20-minute show as synchronized to patriotic music favorites, presented by iHeart Radio and the City of Pflugerville.

Celebrate the Fourth of July with an incredible view of the fireworks from Green Valley Ranch’s lush backyard, accompanied by live DJ entertainment. The event begins at 7:30 p.m., with the fireworks show starting at 9:00 p.m.

Tickets go on sale June 4, 2025, and will be available at the Casino Gift Shop and the Essentials Gift Shop in the hotel lobby. Pricing is $10 for children ages 2–11 and $35 for guests 12 and up. Admission includes complimentary light-up necklaces while supplies last. Frozen treats, snacks, and beverages will also be available for purchase. Cabanas and daybeds are available for reservation.

Kids Town’s Patriotic Town & Parade

Date: June 20 – July 5, 2025

Time: Varies, 4 – 2hr sessions to reserve each day.

Kids Town is an entire town of pretend play for kids! There are four (4) – 2 hour sessions everyday Monday-Saturday. They are decorating the town for the 4th of July and having an Independence Day Parade in each session starring your children!

The patriotic town will start on June 20th and go through July 4th. There is a limit on how many children every session, so make sure to reserve your spot on their website.

Red, White, and Kaboom! Cowabunga Bay (Las Vegas)

Free Swimming at Clark County Pools

In celebration of the Independence Day holiday, Clark County is offering free swimming at outdoor pools and water parks that will be open on Sunday, July 4.

Clark County’s Department of Parks and Recreation operates pools and community centers throughout the County. County water parks include twisting slides, gushing fountains, play areas, and shallow pools for young swimmers. Pool rules include proper swim attire required; children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult; only Coast Guard-approved flotation devices allowed; no alcohol or glass containers allowed; and facility occupancy limits are enforced.

Blast off in the Basin

The Las Vegas City Council is hosting Wards 4 & 6 Blast off in the Basin Fireworks on July 4th, 2024 starting at 7pm. This event is free and open to the public. Visit Buckskin Basin Park – and bring plenty of sunscreen and/or umbrellas for shade – to enjoy a live DJ and food trucks. There is an alternate viewing area for the fireworks at Wayne Bunker Park, 7351 W. Alexander Rd.

Summerlin Patriotic Parade

Kick off your Independence Day in star-spangled style at Las Vegas’s largest and most popular Fourth of July parade. American spirit will be on full display this Fourth of July at the Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade. Be a part of a time-honored tradition, complete with dazzling floats, larger-than-life balloons, dynamic performances, and, of course, tributes to our U.S. military heroes. It’s sure to bring all the small-town spirit and big-city pageantry you’ve come to expect. So, mark your calendar and make plans to celebrate Independence Day with us!

There is parking all around the area – we like the Summerlin Library Parking Lot since it’s typically closed.

Laughlin

Rockets Over the River

Date: July 4th, 2025

Time: 9pm

The annual Rockets Over The River fireworks display is free for public viewing along the entire Laughlin River Walk or from your favorite Laughlin hotel. This extraordinary display is one of the most spectacular and unique in the West as the pyrotechnic company launches the rockets into the dark desert sky with the reflection of each colorful explosion shimmering on the Colorado River. The display is simulcast to patriotic music on a local radio station.

Mesquite

Rockets Over the Red Mesa at Eureka Casino Resort

Date: July 4th, 2025

Time: 7pm – 9pm

This year’s “Rockets Over the Red Mesa” will be at the Sports and Events Complex with the best fireworks show around. The event will be on Friday, July 4, 2025. The evening starts at 7:10 with opening ceremony, then at 7:20 pm with food trucks and live music. At 7:30 there will be family games, and the fireworks show will start at 9:00 pm.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and tailgate.

This is a free family friendly event open to all ages.
